You Don't Have to Be Perfect

You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to be smart. You don't have to have prowess In athletics or art. You don't have to be confident. You don't have to self-start. You don't have to have any of this To own all of my heart. If you are my child, My daughter or son, My interest in you Is already won. You may be artistic Or as smart as can be. With or without such, You are perfect to me. You are fantastic. I love you so dearly. I'll always be with you As you grow up yearly. Don't fret and worry. You're doing just fine. When life gets you bothered, Remember you're mine.
