The sun sets too early

On days spent with you.

I could last forever

In your company, that's true.

Your eyes shine like the sun

That sets behind us.

In peaceful joy, we float

On the kayak, ain't no fuss.

A line in the water

But eyes on the clock,

The minutes past us by

Like the waves on which we rock.

Let's take a day off soon

And have unrushed fun.

Let's spend all day together,

Nevermind the setting sun.
