I know not

To visit your home.

I once forgot,

And to it I did roam.

Just dropped by

To leave for you a gift.

With hard eyes,

You ensured I was swift.

It's okay.

Privacy is Devine.

Surely one day,

The turn would be mine.

Of your kin,

You may speak of fidelity.

Words spoken,

But lacking indelibility.

Where were you

In my time of celebration,

When I sought you

To share in my elation?

When I tried

To adapt to your schedule,

Why'd you hide

Like being busy's your sigil?

And where were you

In my time of heartbreak,

When darkness grew

And left loss in its wake?

I'm not mad.

I will not struggle or cry.

But time ahead,

Do not ask me, where am I?
