The Comforts of Home

Lace and silken curtains Are as lovely as can be, But the mossy drapes of tree boughs Make the perfect veil for me.

Don't leave the bathroom's bulb on; I need no other night light Than the full moon and stars Whose shine is cold and bright.

My bed at home is cozy, But my sleeping bag is warm. My tent is better for me Than a stuffy inside dorm.

Don't pity me my daydreams While you play games on your phone. I'm at home in the forest, And I'm happy to the bone.
