The Bravest You

Dance on the cap of a wave.

Twirl in a valley of foam.

Live like the 'you' who is brave

And not timid to leave home.

Swim in great rivers and lakes.

Fly above the rain-stuffed clouds.

Creep in the brush with the snakes.

Pass through the pale foggy shrouds.

Live like there's no tomorrow.

Love like I'll always be here.

Don't be afraid of sorrow.

Journey through life without fear.

The future ahead is bright,

Though not the shape you once knew.

But you, dear, will be alright

Because you're the bravest 'you'.
