Spring's Secret Arrival

Between Winter and Spring,
when all the birds sing
in anticipation
for a warm declaration,
As fair weather enters,
chasing away all of winter's
Bone-chilling frozen days
replaced with warm sunny rays,
There's a hidden sunrise
in transitioning skies
over fog down below
even thicker than snow.
It is no longer cold,
but the warmth is not bold
enough yet to confide
that she's here, so she'll hide
In her blanket of mist
sharing a secret tryst
with the birds and the bees
over grasslands and seas.
Then, adorned like a bride,
she will no longer hide.
Her veil will be lifted,
and life will have shifted
into vibrant, clear days
under warm springtime rays.
She will dance and be glad.
Lovely times will be had.
