She's the One

She's the one who walks barefoot

On the pine needle floor.

She's the one who requests

To walk one mile more.

Her neck glistens with sweat.

Her face reddens with heat.

She's got moss in her hair,

And dirt covers her feet.

Is she in her own world,

Or has she lot it, per chance?

Either way, in the forest,

She will smile and dance.

Some may find her annoying

While others think charming.

She doesn't mind either way,

For who is she harming?

Don't be embarrassed

to walk with this girl.

Maybe just take off your shoes

And go give it a whirl!
