Humble Laude

From the beginning, you have been great.

Magnificent and good is all you create.

How can you gift it to human fate?

We dirty and darken what once was pure.

How dare we make so much for you to endure?

Yet our eternity you died to ensure.

Compassion and mercy are your tears.

With every crystal drop, you sooth our fears.

You've been with us for all of these years.

Enormous and lasting, you are, oh God.

And you still want to bring us where angels trod.

In reverence we thank You and bring you laude.
