A Moody Poem

People stink.

I don't like them much.

Way too hard

to their hate they clutch.

They act like

I have done them wrong

so I owe

them a happy song.

It's all lies,

but I know the truth.

I have a

duty in my youth.

Learn it all,

the good and the bad.

Decipher

what's worth being had.

Take their gloom,

turn it into joy.

Teach it to

my girls and boy.

Life is more

than the whole world's hate.

Owe it not;

make your new world great.
