In the quiet space,

In the secret place,

Among fields of grace

I seek your face.

In the valley wide

Your mysteries hide

To be opened wide...

In me, please confide.

You envelop me

With your dignity.

Your great entity

Is all that I see.

Your peace fills my heart.

Why were we apart?

Let me now restart

Kinship on my part.

You're my dearest friend.

My lips, prayers send.

This love does not end.

I'm yours to defend.

You're merciful and fair.

You help me to dare

To make my soul bare

To your gentle care.

There is freedom here

With my savior dear.

You wipe ev'ry tear.

You make my soul clear.
