A magical lake at midday Is a perfect location to stay If you're a unicorn, wood sprite, or fae But all else should stay far away!
The water's refreshingly cold But its grudges are lasting and old. It's banks are all littered with gold, But it curses to whomever it's sold.
If you were to sit down on a log, You might be turned into a frog! You'll get lost in enchanted fog If you visit this cantankerous bog.
Sirens and serpents call it home. To their tables and lairs they bid come. But the sirens are spirits of foam, And forever with them you'll roam.
Some seek magical lakes for wealth. Others will seek one for health. But disaster lurks always in stealth, And behind pretty facades are filth.
A magical lake at midday Is a perfect location to stay If you're a unicorn, wood sprite, or fae But all else should stay far away!
And it goes without saying at midnight, You will soon be quite less than alright. While the magicals sleep, mosquitoes bite, And the itching will be such a fright!
